NBMA Comment Letter on EPA's Proposed Solid Waste Rule
The NBMA's Regulations Development Committee submitted a comment letter on August 3rd to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
regarding their proposed rule titled, ""Identification of Non-Hazardous Secondary Materials That Are Solid Waste" (40 CFR Part 241).

National Biosolids End Use & Disposal Report
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) funded this project to
look at biosolids end-use, disposal, quality and regulations
across the nation. Based on the findings received from state regulatory
agencies, US EPA, individual wastewater treatment facilities and others,
there were 7,180,000 dry U.S. tons of biosolids beneficially used or
disposed in 2004. Project team members include BioCycle Magazine, North
East Biosolids & Residuals Association, Northwest Biosolids Management
Association and Wisconsin Dept. of Natural Resources.
